Juniors - Key Stage 2

The Junior Department is for children from the ages of 7-11 years. At this stage of the preparatory education each pupil will have grown in independence and blossomed in a supportive and happy environment, gaining the key skills needed to successfully join their Secondary School.

Our aim is for children to achieve a higher level of reading, english and mathematics, along with the other core and interest subjects. Homework becomes of greater importance at this level and pupils experience more demanding teaching and learning.

Head and deputy head of houses are chosen from children in year 6. Children in the Juniors are encouraged to take on additional responsibilities within the school and to realise the importance of the required standards of behaviour.
